In life there are so many little significant factors that make the world go round the way it does. Some are very simple, and some we don’t care to pay any attention to. For this specific project, the idea was to show the chain of events that make the circle of the life. I used canvas’ to create a four painting series’ that represents one of the factors of life’s importance. Each series of 4 is a different size then the others and a different aspect of life that connects to one another. Each one relates to the next one, being able to be told like a story. I painted these images with an acrylic light wash background and technique I used was painting in the center of the canvas’ with little to no background but white and the light color washes. This was to enlightened the significance of the stages of these life cycles and to emphasize how each of them might seem miniscule to us but when focused on with a spotlight they are pages of your own story of living. Each series connects to the next and then one before last is the reason people are able to live on earth and then the last large painting is the circle of a human life.
